Caller #9

Soo, last wednesday, Wednesday the 5th of september 07 I was driving home listening to the radio. I had my phone in my hand and the radio announcer said, to win call 1800-###-####. As i said, i happened to have my phone in my hand and she said the numbers slow enough that I was able to type them in. i never call radio stations, but then i thought, well since I have the number i might as well try. I called and it said caller #3 try again....(I needed to be caller number nine). I called back one last time....someone said hello? and i was like....Hello? I didn't know what to do. was I caller number 9? Was this the right number? Then I thought, what do people usually say when they're on the radio? and then i realized the fact that someone picked up probabely meant I was caller number 9! I said, am i caller number 9? YES!! then i precedeed to make a lot of riduculous excited noises...because really i had no idea what I had won....something asian....and something to do with tea. So the announcer told me I had won two tickets to the event...(still not knowing what event)....AND since it was wednesday i also won a limo for the night and dinner for two at beautiful restaurant on the embarcadero. WoW!! I could not believe this...i've never won anything! and i wasn't even going to call... i could not believe this was happening to me!
The event was for the next day...thursday.
The next day, i shaved, showered got all dressed up, perfume, make-up, it was perfect. I had the PERFECT outfit. The event was tea tasting at the asian art museum. I had on a simple black dress with a chinese clasp at the top, and my beautiful chinese jacked that susi and mamaquerida helped me buy. i looked great, very fitting for the occation and fancy for our dinner and limo. i went with juan, who wore a suit and looked very handsome with his SHORT hair.
the limo picked us up at 6:30....we went to the museum, tasted tea, looked at the artifacts, and then the limo came back at 8:15 to take us to dinner at Chiya, where we had a very beautiful/expensive meal. I had risotto, juan had the serloin steak. We also had these really good drinks..i had a cosmojito, and he had a cucumber martini....both were excellent even though I usually hate drinking. We had no room for dessert so we went outside to our limo who was waiting for us to take us home. But before taking us home he took us to a very shishi bar called the W, juan had another drink and then we went home in our limo. What a night!
